Die Kaffeerösterei Drago Mocambo wurde 1985 von Giuseppe Drago gegründet, der aufgrund seiner Leidenschaft für Kaffee zusammen mit seinen Familienangehörigen dieses Abenteuer in einer nur 20 qm großen Garage startete, wo die ersten Kilo Mocambo Kaffee verlesen, gemischt, geröstet und manuell verpackt wurden.

Geschmack, Aroma und kompromisslose Qualität, diese drei Begriffe sind zum Synonym für Kaffee der Marke Drago Mocambo geworden. Erlesene Rohstoffe, ein sorgfältiges Röstverfahren und das Kaffee-Know-How des Unternehmens bilden die solide Basis dafür, dass Kaffee auch in Deutschland so gut schmecken kann wie in Italien. Dank der Unternehmungslust und der ständigen Investition in immer fortschrittlicheren Maschinen konnte Mocambo Caffé perfektioniert und somit kann Drago Mocambo ein unwiderstehliches Erzeugnis von höchster Qualität anbieten, das gleichzeitig die Tradition und die Geheimnisse der sogenannten "langsamen Röstung" bewahrt.

La nostra torrefazione nasce nel 1985, fondata da nostro nonno Giuseppe Drago che, spinto dall’innata passione per il caffè, iniziò questa meravigliosa avventura in Germania in un piccolo garage di soli 20 mq.
Con il passare degli anni la qualità e la perseveranza hanno fatto la differenza; il caffè Mocambo è cresciuto passo dopo passo riuscendo a trasmettere ai tantissimi Clienti la vera cultura italiana del caffè espresso.
Ogni giorno vengono gustati piu' di 200.000 tazzine mocambo in Europa e nel mondo.

Mocambo was founded in 1985 by Giuseppe Drago, who driven by an innate passion for coffee started this wonderful adventure with the help of his family in a small 20m2 garage where he hand selected, blended, toasted and packaged the very first kilos of Mocambo coffee.
Over the years the quality and freshness of our blends and the know-how we have acquired have made the difference; Mocambo coffee has grown step-by-step, managing to transmit the true Italian culture of the espresso to its Clients. Thanks to an enterprising spirit and continually being on the look-out for cutting edge equipment, Mocambo coffee has been gradually perfected, offering an ever more irresistible top quality product while still managing to retain the traditions and secrets of the process known as “slow roasting”.

By following all the processes of producing coffee, from bean to cup, Mocambo offers its experience to support anyone whose intentions are to spread the culture of the Italian espresso, working with continually high enthusiasm and synergy. In Germany and the rest of the world about 375,000 cups of coffee are sipped every day; in light of this we believe that there are five fundamental points: quality, freshness, communication, tradition, emotion.
